What do you translate?
We like to specialize in Downtown and Shimura Ken comedy. However, we are willing to translate basically anything funny or interesting from Japan.
Do you take requests?
We accept requests, but you will need to provide us a suitable raw file to translate. The file must be of good quality. Also, requests are taken based on popularity. If your request is not something that is popular with most of the visitors to this site, it probably won’t be translated as we will post all of our completed translations for visitors to this site to enjoy. Requests posted in the comment section will be ignored. Please email us at subbers@mail.com
How long does it take for you to translate a video?
This depends on many factors including the amount of captions and number of spoken lines to translate. We do not attach a deadline to any of our work, unless there is a specific reason for doing so.
How do I know if my request has been accepted?
You will receive an email from us.
How will I receive the file after you have finished translation?
We will provide you with a link to download the encoded hard-subbed video.
Do you charge for your work?
After careful deliberation, we have decided to keep the site free for the time being. We do utilize income generating tools such as shorte.st or paid to view streaming sites. The total is then divided equally among those individuals involved with each project. We believe that this is the fairest method for everyone involved.

How many files am I allowed to download?
There is no limit.
Are your subtitle files available for download?
No, sorry.
Are we allowed to post your work on streaming sites?
We are actively seeking uploaders to post our work on streaming sites such as Youtube and Dailymotion. If would like to upload our work, the following rules must be followed:1) Send us an email to let us know which site you would like to upload our work to.
2) A link back to this site is REQUIRED below EVERY video of our work that is posted.
Failure to follow these simple rules will result in this site reverting into a paid members-only site and request will be taken only from paid members. Help keep this site available for everyone and follow our rules posted.
